Cottrill’s 9 truck service bays and our licensed truck mechanics are fully equipped to provide a full range of preventative maintenance, safety inspections and repair service for most makes and models of medium-heavy trucks, trailers and equipment.
Our laptop based driveline and ABS diagnostic equipment are loaded with current versions of aftermarket & OEM software for most engine, transmission & ABS makes & models, making Cottrill one of the region’s few one-stop service shops for mixed truck fleets.
Our motor vehicle inspection station license authorizes our technicians to perform safety inspections for licensing and transfer certificates.

Structural Repair
Cottrill is certified as a Type 6 Body Shop under Ontario’s DriveON program, permitting the inspection of structurally repaired vehicles with a “salvage” designation. Vehicles that meet all inspection requirements may have their ownership status reclassified from “salvage” to “rebuilt.”
Specializing in the medium- to heavy-duty truck sector, Cottrill conducts structural inspections for Class 3–8 vehicles only.

Mobile truck service: Call us for onsite service and repair to your truck fleet anywhere in Grey-Bruce and Huron County. Our mobile service truck is supported by an extensive network of allied repair facilities located throughout Ontario, providing emergency and warranty service to Cottrill customers. Cottrill is also recommended by leading truck rental and lease fleets for roadside service calls.
Heavy equipment: Cottrill’s experience in diesel power and hydraulic systems provides the expertise for onsite service to a wide range of construction and stationary machinery including dozers, loaders, compactors and processing equipment. Our crews are able to access the Bruce Nuclear Power Site to complete repairs with the appropriate sponsor from an active Bruce Power employee or Bruce Power contractor with the correct clearances.
